Welcome to the official V3 Launch thread! Hope you enjoy the launch. Below is a list of all the changes I can think of between V2 and V3 (I know I'm probably forgetting something...). There's also more detailed explanations of the changes on the 'Countdown to V3' board (link to the index).

V3 Changes:

- Character Classes
- 21 different classes to choose from, each with unique skills lists and default avatar
- 6 Starting classes and 15 Specialized classes that you can upgrade to as you advance
- Unique starting equipment for each starting class!
- Some classes also effect the types of weapons you can use (ie. only channelers can Channel).

- Gain up to 6 upgradable skills based on your class that are always in effect and used for every attack.
- Upgrade the skills of your choice as you level up.

- Be a Darkfriend!
- You can choose for your character to be a darkfriend when you create it (can't be changed later at this point).
- Darkfriends names are shown as red. Shadowspawn are automatically Darkfriends.
- Being a Darkfriend affects the types of NPCs you encounter.

- Character Classes
- Wilderness Areas and Exploration:
- 18 new wilderness areas (non-towns) to explore. These areas cannot be ruled!
- Wilderness areas do not have shops or markets, so selling and trading is unavailable.
- Exploring allows you to battle randomly generated NPC enemies
- NPCs vary from area to area
- Defeating NPCs allows you to find items (Duels vs players no longer do), but will offer slightly less experience than duels with other players. Choose the best balance for you!
- 18 new wilderness areas (non-towns) to explore. These areas cannot be ruled!
- Town Settings:
- Update to town influence system: 4 pts for a win in town, 1 pt to each surrounding town for win in wilderness.
- Shop prices have been adjusted
- Town rulers can now adjust the settings for the local dice game! Set the game (Tops or Crowns) and the wagers!
- New Town announcements: messages posted by clan leaders above the clan chat!
- Update to town influence system: 4 pts for a win in town, 1 pt to each surrounding town for win in wilderness.

- Clan Upgrades:
- New clan bank! Hourly royalties for controlling towns go directly to clan bank!
- Clan upgrades can be purchased by clan leaders. Bigger vault or added stats for clan members.
- Hourly upkeep payments are taken from clan bank to pay for the upgrades. Failure to make these payments result in loss of upgrades...
- Duels vs. clan enemies allow for raiding of the enemies bank! Spoils go directly to your clan's bank.
- Selling of vault items or direct donations also can be used to grow the clan's bank.
- New clan bank! Hourly royalties for controlling towns go directly to clan bank!
- Clan Flags:
- Create a flag to represent your clan!
- Choose the style, color, and sigil.
- Flags are displayed on clan page and the flag of the ruling clan is displayed on town pages.

- New private clan info: can be set by leaders and displayed at top of clan page. Only clan members can see this information.
- Clan Upgrades:
- User Interface Changes
- Class, Gender, and Age now displayed on Bio. Age is time since you created your character. (Starts at 18 years. 1 hour = 1 day.)
- Bigger map! Clicking in a town or wilderness area will popup a larger, more detailed map (if you allow popups...)
- New Town information page! Shows information about the current condition of each town. Link on the Heroes of the Horn page!
- Level up notification! The Skills button at the top to the page will have a slight aura around it when you level up (similar to new message notification.
- Class, Gender, and Age now displayed on Bio. Age is time since you created your character. (Starts at 18 years. 1 hour = 1 day.)
- Kill your own characters:
- Tired of a character? Kill them! Option under clan settings to permanently delete you character, freeing you up to make another alt instead! (You may have up to 5 alts).
- (Warning! Killing characters is permanent. I will not restore any characters you 'accidently' delete)

- Tweaked some stats, including poison
