The first week or so of posts are little random things that need to be made known in order to more fully explain some of the other changes that are coming.
Couple points. You may notice that Garen's Wall is missing from the list and Forest of Shadows has been added. This is the only change of the map from V4 to V5. All routes to/from Garen's Wall now are to/from the Forest of Shadows. The main reason for this was I needed a third Forest area to keep the number of terrain types even.
As for the "(to be updated)" at the end, I know exactly how it will be determined, but its based on something I haven't announced yet so I'll come back and update it as soon as I have. It will likely be either towards the end of this week or more likely early next week.

No penalties at this time for terrain, though it is a possibility in the future. And Ed's map is pretty sweet!

This sounds like a good idea to diversify the different areas. Looking forward for more explaination. Just one side thought: Could it not be possible to introduce Dragonmount as a wilderness area, replacing perhaps the Kinslayers Dagger? This is, unless you have plans regarding special/hidden areas.

Both are possibilities. For now, you'll just have to wait and see. If I do make Dragonmount a wilderness area, it won't be in V5. I think Ed would shoot me if I changed the map on him again... Updated post to show that favored types are based on character nationality.

Have you yet determined what character nationalities will recieve bonuses from which terrain type? As an Ogier, I'm intrigued. Edit: Nevermind, I see that you're doing that in a different thread. xD

Yeah, I'll update those in new threads as I get to them. I do have all the nationality bonuses figured out, just haven't announced them yet. As for Ogier, you can probably guess which terrain type they'd get a bonus in if you know the books and you think about it.
